Do you think that it would be unsportsman-like for Ratts to tell Hadley to go out and sniper goodes or jack and take them out?? he won't be on our list anyway next year.....

Or give Gibbs an opportunity to win the game for us? He is wasted on Goodes.

Ok so 4 goals down. We do run games out, but the issue is whether we capatalise? We could lift our intensity at least 3 notches IMO, it's been poor for all but 5mins each quarter.

Weak as piss.....

2 goals in time on we worked so hard to get back into the game and had them on the ropes....

Just not good enough - surely Ratts would just try to go man on man in the last 5min of every 1/4, regardless of momentum? It happens EVERY game ffs!

By the way - what is our set up in D50 stoppages? We just leave it open for them to waltz in in front of the contest and score at will!

Not good enough to win today unfortunately....Need to play out of our skins to do so.

A minute to go, a stoppage in Swans forward fifty, I said to the wife I'd put the house on a Swans goal here; arrgh!

Happens time after time, too many players drawn to the contest rather than watching their man. Lack of concentration? Lack of discipline? Either way I've had a gutfull of this happening.

But why didn't we have numbers back? The 4 swans ran the ball across the 50 metre arc. Stupid.

I agee the will is there, can't question that. We just need to focus and play smarter football.

Quarters are long because its the Swans. Lots of stoppages.

Thats the other thing I forgot to mention, our tackling is appalling, so many missed tackles or we don't just to the end, casually jog along and then put in a short burst at the end. Need to be a lot morre physical, block their path rather than let them run past unimpeded.

Are they actually taught to lock the arms? Because time and time again their arms seem to be free as a bird.

Someone needs to get between Kennedy and the ruckmans hands. He's having a picnic at the stoppages.
I'd also put the resting ruckmen in the goalsquare.

Lastly, is there any danger one of our small forwards could get to the fall of the ball when it goes in long? They're too busy trying to be lead up forwards instead of getting some crumbs!

Still confident. A few changes needed - Hendo pushing further up the ground, Simpson take wing at bounce and move forward with Garlett, Betts, Waite and Warnock...hold tackles, move the ball on quickly and trust teammates ability. Carrazzo shouldn't have played...should've known better than to take him into this game - he's cost us big time. If we can be within 2 goals at 3qtr time - we're a big show.

We need to re model the backline. At this rate swans will score 150. Jamo n bower shouldn't be walk up starts down back, bec neither are superstars. We won't be a top team til we have a top backline or overall defensive mindset a la saints or pies. Off season focus should be defense n midfield
