Can happen if Carlton beat Richmond -lose not too badly to freo and geelong

Can happen if Swans beat Brisbane last round by not much but lose to Freo and the Dogs

Can happen if Hawks lose to either Freo or Melbourne and also to the Carringbush

Can happen if North loses to Stkilda

Can happen if Dees lose to Hawks port or north

It's a real possibility. I hope it eventuates, I've been waiting ages to see another Carlton final live in person. Didn't go to Brizzy last year.

So, can we have a thread for each possible '1st week of the finals' scenario?

Swans are playing good footy and we generally are their bitches. A final against Freo seemingly gets more winnable by the week, even at Subiaco. Would love to attend one in melbourne though!

Worst case scenario for me would be final against Sydney at the SCG with Bradshaw back.

Yikes.

We need 12 wins to ensure a home final.

I'm almost certain we will be playing interstate week one unfortunately.

If we win this week, and Freo loses to Sydney, our final game against Freo will probably decide fifth spot.

I just want us to play finals, plain and simple, dont give a flying !@#$ who we play against!

As long as we give it our all for 4 quarters like we all know we can, we can give september a bit of a shake up.

Lets just get there first, yeah!

Would definetely prefer Sydney over Hawthorn and Fremantle, even if their form has been shit of late.

What toll would back to back Subi trips have? Trip to Subi in round 22 sucks balls.
Sydney at the G would be much better

We need to front up to Hawthorn and stop the intimidation rather than avoid them. Would be a perfect time to show we are a real side.
Would be a long time since we played Sydney at the "G" if it falls that way. 86` finals?

We would give both a run for their money at the MCG....especially Sydney where the 'G' does not suit their style of play....

Sydney cant win at the MCG they are 1 from their last 10 there

So the ideal game would be Sydney at the G

we dont want ot meet that at the Ice Rink

Freo at Subi two weeks running would be a dissaster

Hawks well I dont know if we play like we did on Friday maybe if we play like the 7 week previous not a chance

The AFL would be moronic to have the game played at Etihad from an attendance point of view.

You are all assuming that a Sydney final would be at the SCG.

NRL finals would make it tricky, but I think Adrian Anderson would do anything he could to get a final played at Homebush.
I am sure that would be his preferred option, no matter how sh%# the ground is for AFL football

Anyway LETS CONCENTRATE ON BEATING RICHMOND FIRST

I'm still not hugely confident that we will manage that successfully.

Carlton [currently 6th] defeated Richmond and Sydney [ currently 7th] defeated Freo
Both at 11 wins out of 20 games
Carlton better percentage
