It's not the fact that we don't have Fevola that may be a problem; it's the fact that we don't have Fevola!. In other words, it's a big psyche-out. Our pack of young introverts could be vulnerable that way.

Well they got one wrong last year in Port Adelaide.

Maybe they'll get one wrong this year.

It's a US sports theory used to describe a situation where a team that loses its star player to another team or injury, rapidly improves contrary to popular predictions. Importantly, this player must have not player in a championship with this team.

Obviously missing Fev is a massive blow because onfield he was feared.

Any team is better when feared.

In 2008 though I felt we won a lot of games bacause sides didn't rate us. Hopefully that could happen this year, but im not counting on it.

IMO WE are BETTER TEAM IN 2010 THAN WE WERE IN 2009.
WE HAVE A GREAT LIST WITH OR WITHOUT fEV, and Fev knows it.

I've got my fingers crossed that Carlton wins a flag before Voss does, and that goes with Fev too.
I hope it's 2010 (yeah 2010) or 11 and 12, and banging on the door for the 5 years after that (till 2017-18... probably further on past that too as a great dynasty does...and that's what we're known for....and then you look at our list.

These kids will coach themselves like the '95 team, only diff is we have Judd now instead of Kernahan.

Had a quick look at last year's "They Know We're Coming" poster and noticed that 12 months on 2 out of those 7 players are no longer with us (and 1 other will be missing for a few weeks). We haven't set the world on fire during the pre-season and we can only hope that Carlton (version 2010) settles down quickly and earns respect.
