What the hell are we doing?

Yes we secured Taylor Harris but we lost our 1st pick from last year Bianca Jakobson and our best young talent in Bella Air.

Seems a bit over the top no?

That's like giving up SPS and say C. Curnow for Taylor Walker. You wouldn't do it.

Maybe someone knows more about all this than me but just sounds too much to give up.

Harris is only 20, so not as if she's an old hat.
Her and Vescioooooo in the forward line will be electric.
She loves her boxing, so get Kouta to get her settled in at Doherty's Gym in Brunswick and all is well.

Just to be clear it's Harris & pick 12 for Jakobsson, Ayre, Exon

Trade week isn't over yet.

Maybe a mid with pick 12?

Gut feeling for me is that we've lost out.

3 for 1 + pick just doens't seem like a fair trade. Especially when two of those three were Jakobsson and Exon.

Draft picks this year are next to useless. The eyes have been well and truly plucked from the talent pool

Obviously we re backing the talent we currently have to cover for the loss of Bella Ayre

Our logic is probably:
Harris > Jacobson
Stevens > Exon
Draft picks are next to useless this year so no big loss with those.

Good to have another 'star' in the team. Can only help bring more attention to our women's team and in turn our female supporter numbers.

The main question to ask though is whether or not we have a better overall team after this trade. If the answer is yes, then what else needs to be said?

Membership boost provider?

How long's her contract?

Bringing in Stevens and Harris is massive.

This comp isn't like the AFL. One or two champs can rocket you up the ladder because the talent is so thin.

As long as the big 4 stay fit I'd expect to be the best or close to the best team in the comp.

Yep. Jakobson was a good 'get out clause' when we needed a mark on the wing... a large Cazbolt... Like Caz (circa 2016) she was terrible in front of goals.
Further, one reason Vescio did well was poor kicks into 50 and she would crumb.... Harris won't be marking those deliveries, and I'm not sure she's as good a contested mark as Jakobson?
Exon was also a great extractor...

Interesting trades... I can't see were ahead on this trade, but I trust the club at this stage

Watch the highlights package. Strong contested marking is one of Harris's strong points.
Harris = Fev and Vescio = Eddie.
