Elevated to primary list for 2018 along with Kerryn Harrington.

Has apparently had an outstanding VFWL season for someone only pulling the boots on this year

Carlton’s AFLW rookies Maddison Gay and Kerryn Harrington have been rewarded for their impressive development, both being elevated to the Club’s primary list ahead of the 2018 season.

Maddison Gay arrived at Ikon Park from the St Kilda Sharks after pulling on the footy boots for the first time in 2017. The outside midfielder had an outstanding season with St Kilda Sharks, highlighted by a four-goal haul in their 22-point victory over Melbourne Uni.

Congratulations on your award.

Are you re-signing for next year?

Sadly, off to Melbourne.

We get Pick 21 and Collingwood's Amilia Barden in return.

Bugger.

I wonder who's choice it was.

Also, Madeline Keryk, Laura Attard, Kate Shierlaw and Sarah Last were delisted from the primary list today.

Carlton now currently holds picks Nos. 3, 16, 21, 27, 38, 40, 48 and 49 in this year’s NAB AFL Women’s National Draft, the equivalent of Victorian picks Nos. 3, 12, 14, 19, 26, 27, 32, 33.

My thoughts exactly

These netballers know how to make space and lose their opponent, I feel Maddison would have been a gem for us

She requested it. Apparently had Melbourne as her second choice before signing with us last year anyway. At least we got a season out of her.
