The fixture is out - starting Friday 30 August 11 games over 10 rounds - so each team has one round they play twice. For us our 2nd game-in-one-round is away to Port Adelaide off a 4 day break - tough scheduling but at least it's Port and not the Crows. All up we have 6 games at Ikon, 2 away in Melbourne and 3 interstate - Mackay, Perth and Adelaide. Overall can't complain. Interesting scheduling. Starting at the time the finals are beginning in the mens I hope it does get lost in finals fever G |

The women had a match similar against Melbourne on Friday. Jumped out of the blocks very well and got a good lead on the Dees. Then stopped badly and ultimately clung on for a 1 point win after the 5th period which were advertised as 20 mins each was called at about 10 mins. Team showed some glimpses of good coordination but once Melbourne got a roll on they threatened to run us off our feet. I fear we will be lucky to make mid-ladder. |
