The skills will improve but for an "elite" competition, it's anything but. Watch Women's cricket or golf and the skills are elite. The best of the best would star at mens community level. Any 1st division mens suburban football team would beat an AFLW team by 30 goals. Those pushing the AFLW cause would bristle at the suggestion but it's reality. It's still a long way off earning the stature it's being falsely provided. |

Some nice passages of play in tonight's win. The play-on/link up game was again on display, with good effect. A couple of nice left-footers in the team. Moody strong again. Great speed shown from Fitzpatrick and great legs on Austin. |
