Great night had by all at the blues AFLW B&F held at Zinc on Fed Square. Club seem very realistic with where the AFLW program is and how far it fell short of acceptable. On the other hand the number of debutants, their performances and the relative youth of our best players is promising. Mimi Hill polled in every round and took the B&F on 86 votes ahead of Abbie McKay (84), Breann Moody (61), Mua Laloifi (57), Lucy McEvoy (52) and Kerryn Peterson (50). Just quietly Gab Pound seemed less than impressed with her relatively poor vote-getting for what I at least thought was as good season. |
