Looking at the majority of mini legends over the years, I'd suggest they have an only flower policy
Ahh, true.

2 points is better than none...

At home against a start up team, it's a loss in comparative terms.
Our drafting has been abysmal. We have numerous players out there who are frightfully below the standard required.

Geelong have a % of 196 yet they've only kicked 6 goals over 3 games.

Super spectacle.

Their injury list mirrors our mens. Once of the worst in the league. Coincidence?

How about the draw against Freo over in Freo. How do you rate that two points BV?

Pretty similar. Freo have 1 win from 5 games so they're not travelling very well.

No draw tonight.

I see they're still not stopping the clock when an injured player is taken from the field, despite play being stopped. Run like a kids' competition.

Umpired like one as well. Peterson was cleaned up by an intentional high fend off by Lily Mithen. Nothing to see for the umpires.
I feel for the players like Kerryn Peterson. She's as committed and professional as most of the male AFL players. Yet she's surrounded by mediocrity.
It must be disheartening. Especially with the lack of improvement in the team. We're going backwards comparatively unfortunately.
We've really [REDACTED] up this teams development.

Not sure about that.

I think we've developed our ability to fumble, extremely well.

It was certainly very difficult viewing last night, particularly given we went into the game with little chance of being competitive, let alone winning. Probably the most injury riddled, weak team we've ever fielded. Factor in the greasy, slippery conditions on top of our already low-skill base and it was a very disheartening night and one we'd quickly wish to forget.

Sadly, we'll be sitting in the bottom six with the expansion sides this season unlikely to win more than a few games. The decimation of our already struggling list during the most recent off-season, followed by the onset of what seems to be a club-wide injury curse, has essentially resigned us to being another expansion team requiring a rebuild from close to scratch. I'm no expert, but we just seem to have too many slow and/or lumbering players in our list make-up which must have been by design/choice, surely it can't all just be bad luck. Perhaps before the next draft comes around it'll be time for those in charge of shaping and developing our list to hand back the keys and give someone else a go.

Talking to a parent of an ex AFLW player yesterday. The player is still very social with the current players.
The talk coming out off the women program about Harford isn't very flattering.

Results aren’t too flattering either.

I remember Ian Collins extending Denis Pagan a three year deal on the back of a Wizard Cup win, and that didn’t end very well - not sure what Harford has done to warrant his extension.

I don’t place too much store in ex (potentially disgruntled) players opinions but the signs are extremely disconcerting.

I'm not totally surprised to read that. I don't think you have a player exodus like we did during the past off-season (even factoring in the introduction of the expansion clubs) without some underlying personality issues smouldering away somewhere behind the scenes.
