Which one is the better Hosking?
I think Sarah is more skilful, Jess more physical and better tackler.

Thanks. Couldn't remember her sister's name.
They're both pretty hard at it, but knew one had questionable skills. Just wasn't sure which.

That's a bit of a shame about SH. The Hosking girls seemed to be an important part of the culture shift last year.

Anyway, I've got faith in Harf and the list managers to unearth some more young talent next year.

Would be disappointing to lose Sarah Hosking (my daughters collectively groaned when I told them). O'Dea is a beast, would be great pick-up and would certainly offset the loss of Hosking. Guerin will only be 21 when the next season rolls around, already with a few years in the system (missed most of this season with an ACL) she could still be a handy addition if that's how it pans out.

I agree. Sarah Hosking has been a fantastic personality at the club but you could see that she was being left behind his year. She was forced out of the midfield rotation and played on the wing. Her hardness at the contest is second to none but we're seeing the youngsters coming through the system are rapidly overtaking the workhorses in the game. She'll provide great leadership to Richmond.
If we could get a first rounder for her as predicted, I'd jump at it.
O'Dea is a good player but I wouldn't be giving up an early pick for her.

If Jess Hosking is getting a regular game next year, we wont have improved. She's as hard as they get but her skills are very poor and you can't carry that in deep defence. We have a great spine and a good up and coming midfield. A skilful running back and a ball accumulating winger would be ideal. I'd be looking at the draft instead of trades.

Good business.

We now have picks 7 and 9 in the Victorian pool of the draft.

A midfield of Prespakis O'Dea McEvoy and Egan should go well
