So this is the first women's game I've watched more than a few minutes of, and I've gotta say the standard is impressive. However, the lack of shoving, shirt-fronting and gut-punching is hugely disappointing. Clearly they lack passion. Probably only in it for the money.

But that's the job she's been given!!

Well, it's a shame for the girls to miss out, they gave their all, but the disparity between the teams was clear. It has a lot to be said to the powers to be as how they can think a conference style league can work with only 10 teams (or even 20 for that matter). Let's hope they're not going to try and do this to the mens comp or their delusion is clear. It works in the US because they have 350+ million people not 23 million.

Hard not to be proud of the girls for how far they've come since last year (and even early this season).

But hopefully today gave them a glimpse of the level they need to reach if they want success, and they work even harder for next year.

Correct... Generally we gone done in the air and persisted with long kicks which weren't working. Our contested ball endevour was pretty good...
I suspect the long kick was because of the pressure rather than instruction. Q1 we went short and I thought we dominated.... Just gave up cheapies the other way. Once we kicked long, the marked and kicked to space, ran on or received and cut us up...
Ah well... Still a great season... And Prespakis is a gun
