Going to need more midfield grunt to get it into the 3 pronged forward line - and don’t think we have it.

By the way is anyone going to change the TC masthead - Madeline Keryck is playing for Geelong, tonight in fact.

Kelli Underwood doing her best to ride North Melbourne home.

She also thinks the plural of 'ruck' is 'ruck'.

I believe so, but they didn't get a point.

Carlton's first scoreless quarter for the year!!!

Carlton massively over-possessing when they have the ball. Too many slow looping handballs instead of gaining territory. I know we want to play like the boys but the skill is not there yet. To see someone handball to no one because they have no left foot isn't the answer.
Simplify the game style, gain territory and shelve the handball.

By the way, get rid of @#$%&! Kate Sheehan. I'd listen to Kelli Underwood every day before Sheehan. She waffles on with nothing comments to hear her own voice.

Very hard to watch, still country footy seconds at best. Back to the cricket...

All-round pathetic team performance.

This...too many panicky handballs to teammates feet.

That was the worst commentary team I’ve ever heard today. Would rather Basil and Dwayne

Good to see we've picked up where last year ended.

Sorry if this offends anyone, but the club needs to fold our AFLW team effective, immediately. The last thing our supports, staff and mens team need is another team at the club that gets flogged regularly. An immediate decision needs to be made by the board to preserve what's left of our fragile culture and morale.

Only six weeks to go before it's over.

I've never watched a game of women's footy. Is it any good ? Obviously Carlton aren't much chop, but overall is it worth watching ?

Its footy, but its not that good.
The ground is too big for the girls...imo.

My family only watches AFLW just for the Carlton fix.
We were expecting a whole lot more than what was served up by the girls.

I guess we got our fix and our medicine for lack of preparation for the real stuff.
Who knows, the girls may learn from that.
North have been allowed to poach and create a super team.
Hope the coach learns from that too.

I would say it has improved this year. Even Carlton have improved, but just got dismantled by a fitter and more skilled team.

Problem is the girls just don’t kick very far. The new kick out rule well for that though.

The umpires had a mare in the Carlton game. Not sure what rule book they were using most of the time. Maybe decision where simply ‘speed the game up’ rules?
