Harris's second miss a disgrace.

The timekeeping rules in this competition are just as disgraceful as some of Harris's misses.

Harris's fourth miss a little unlucky.

First year player, Abbey McKay, daughter of Carlton legend ny McKay will make her debut at 4.45pm this Saturday arvo.

Lets skin those cats girls, and make it 2 wins in a row.

If they show the same spirit and play 4 quarters like last week, a huge win is on the cards for CARLTON.
Hard to have a huge win when we kick one goal. Shhhhhhh don't tell anyone it'll look bad for the game

Harris will be on the couch this week.

Some sad, poor misses. :yikes: :yikes: :yikes:

Nothing to do but get on the track and work hard at improving her efforts.

No many Mrs but a lot of misses.

Av lost opportunity.

Amazing hr pressure the girls put on in the 2nd half to dominate but failed to get the ball through the big sticks.

Would love to see the girls centre the ball more than they do.They can't kick far enough to get those switch passes to make the distance and work.

So...a whole minute ticks by in the Bulldogs/Lions match while the stretcher comes out...then the clock is stopped.

Who are these lunatics in charge?

If anyone can point me in the direction of the official rules for this comp, I would appreciate it.

All I've found so far, is that time-on only applies in the last two minutes of the quarter.

--------------------

Apparently, on further investigation, all AFL laws from the men's comp apply to this competition (except rules regarding runners, and obviously the time-on rules).

Regarding the stretcher incident from above, it looks as if it's up to the controlling field umpire to decide when time should be stopped (even though the laws state that time-on only applies in the last two minutes).

So, two questions: a) should time have been stopped at all (as the incident occurred just after the start of the quarter) and b) if so, why did he wait so long before having time stopped?

More makey-uppy stuff from the AFL, I think.

Carlton are 1 game behind to Top 2 in our conference: Geelong & Lions.
Carlton have a greater percentage than both teams above them.

The girls can win a couple more and make the finals.

Carlton should have a good win over Pies this weekend.
Lions and Cats play each other.

Cats play the tough Freo
Carlton Plays the Lions.

The ball is in their court...if they are good enough.

I thought they showed plenty of desire on the weekend but didn't get the chocolates.
They know how to work hard.

Kicking was really deplorable at times.
Tayla's misses were the difference in the end. She has to get back on the bike.

I prefer the girls to play a more direct avenue to goal.
They don't kick far enough for safe effective switches.

Please don't bring the ball back in the corridor in the backline: Footy 101.

As bad as her kicking was, it was more her pathetic decision-making...

Run right to the goal line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
