Bad luck Kangaroos on finishing with more points than the top 2 Pool B teams, but failing to make the finals.

So, with GWS defeating Geelong tonight, we'd have to drop almost 35 percentage points to miss the finals.

The Lions, needless to say, would be very happy with that result.

Have to say I was riding the pies home - hoping for the cats to make the finals -for the sake of the cats AFLW head trainer of course.

The disappointment in her voice was palpable at the end.

The girls will get torched by Freo if that 2nd half form continues.

Q: Why didn't the umpire call play on when Brennan was lining up for their first goal? Clearly over 30 seconds.

A: Because he wouldn't have even considered it, the stupid fool.

The girls have done wonders for our brand.
We are back on the winners list.
We are back playing finals.
Carlton..Finals...use to go without saying, now means everything.

The Carlton logo exposure in the media is priceless.
We, as a club, are becoming relevant again.
Don't underestimate the power of winning.
We are after 60,000 members this year.

The Conference system keeps interest in the competition for the 7 weeks, otherwise the interest in finals would have faded after round 4. There's just not enough depth in womens footy. In fact 2 rugby 7's players starred for us yesterday with 5 goals between them.

Beating Freo by 1 point next weekend will prove the girls deserved their spot in the finals and the integrity of the conference system.

Go Girls
Go Bluebaggers

I find it difficult to agree with Kate O'Halloran and Dr Storr.

Sorry if this offends anyone, but the club needs to fold our AFLW team effective, immediately. Just something for those people talking about sacking Bolton after one game. Not meaning to pick on SideFX but this was his/her post after one game.

Very fortunate to be in the finals.

Very fortunate to be playing at home.

Some very impressive passages of play to this point.
