The time has come. The Blues will taking on the Meat Pies on Friday evening for the season opener. Get there early: a decent crowd is expected. Looks like Vescio is ready to go after last week's game against the Dogs. It will be interesting to see how many newbies get a go in this, the opening game of the season. |

Good first up win against the Pies by 8 points. Coulda/shoulda won by more if we had kicked straighter. Sarah Hoskin copped a kick to the leg from a Collingwood player. Collingwood player reported. |

And I actually hope (I think) that the season will eventually double in length. |

Watched the game, pretty ordinary skills but a win is a win. They need to score more if this is going to be a success. One player who really stood out was Chloe Molloy from Collingwood. She is the niece of Jarrod and built just like him. |
