Games will also be slightly longer with two minutes of time-on added to the end of each quarter to account for any delays during the match.

And the reason this comp does not have the same time-off rules as the AFL...?

And the reason you'd have this video, of all videos, in black and white...?

Would really like the clock to stop every time the ball goes OOB.

'Pride' game in round four.

"We have the ability to make a difference, make a change and to really make sure people feel included and belong and I think that’s the point of this round,” Davey said.

I would have thought the point of the round is for teams to try to get the points.

What a rubbish move by the AFL. Are they expecting a group of girls who have played 1-11 games together, to be hitting targets lace out over 50m? Most can’t kick 30m so logic states it will take longer to move the ball from one end to another, reducing scoring, and most kick outs from the defensive half have no penetration, so it’s easy to bottle the game up and be trapped in your defensive half.

Let the game evolve over time.

I'd like to know what the consequence is if either one or both teams refuse to start with a 5-6-5 formation.

Apart from the umpire refusing to bounce the ball.

Quote:
POOR lighting at Ikon Park could be a safety hazard for players, says Brisbane AFLW coach Craig Starcevich.

"Nup. Nowhere near it," Starcevich said when asked if he thought the lights were strong enough.

"Terrible really at ground level. We're up in the box looking across the ground and we're all a bit old so we're trying to see what we're looking for but not good enough, I don't think.

Interim Carlton coach Nick Rutley admitted he had some difficulty watching the action from his vantage point as well.

"It's a funny one, at training I noticed it a little bit – that was on Thursday – and I thought, 'Oh well, that's going to improve because we're having a game.'

FWIW, at the conclusion of Round 3, Carlton has had the fewest points scored both for and against.

We’re falling behind the benchmarks of the competition in so many ways.

Need to get John Hipoate in as a specialist coach pronto.

Think we need to bring in a bit of sexual assault to win?

Western Bulldogs captain Katie Brennan will miss the AFLW Grand Final after the tribunal upheld her suspension for a dangerous tackle.

The Dogs counsel attempted to argue Brennan should be cleared because it would be another "cruel blow" to the Bulldogs given what happened in 2016 with Bob Murphy. They further suggested Brennan's impact in growing women's football should provide for mitigating circumstances.

Please tell me they didn't actually use this as their argument :sly:
