Caught the last quarter of the Dogs/Freo match and again saw intense play combined with some very poor skills and a touch of class here and there.

Bit surprised the Bullies didn't change the words to their song.

I hope women's footy succeeds. BUT.......the 4 losing teams kicked 1 goal each (I think).

If that sort of scoreline continues, the ''punters'' may well lose interest.

Did we make money? I heard it was free tickets galore for our game.

Also with other games being moved to Ikon in the short term, are we being compensated for ground maintenance?

Would much prefer the clock to be stopped when the ball goes out.

Freo v Coll:

Boundary umpire throws the ball back in diabolically. Ordered to throw it in again. Clock does not stop at all. Heaps of time wasted. Totally ridiculous.

How crappy, although reasonably fair, is a seven round comp.

And while it won't happen, would love to see Carlton win the next two (with a sizeable % boost), Brisbane to lose the next two, Adelaide to win one, and Brisbane not make the final.

Is that asking too much?

Disappointing finish for our girls (good fightback today though), but we've clearly got the 2 best teams playing in the GF.

yep best 2 teams in the GF

we're not far away, got really good bookends, just need cleaner ball movement through the middle

Any plans next year to extend the season?

As much as I enjoyed the comp, and would have loved the Blues to have won it, I'm having trouble viewing a seven week comp as being truly fair dinkum.

So I see they've changed the rules for the grand final.

When was this decided? During the week?

While I've been calling for the clock to be stopped when the ball goes out, why is it good enough to do it in the GF but not in the other games?

More makey-uppity.

Joke.

Brisbane marquee Tayla Harris wants a move to Melbourne. Word is we are the front runners. Heard about a month ago this was possibly the case. There were photos of her and Bri at the St Kilda Sharks.

Also sounds like the AFLW is bringing a Father/Daughter rule in.

Maybe a Carrots can finally win a rising star?

You'd have to think having Harris, Stevens, Vescio and Davey in the same side bodes well for the upcoming season.

As has been said elsewhere, the lack of depth means the superstars have an extreme influence on the match. Looking forward to seeing them in action.
