Good news. I am shocked though, the AFL usually gives us nothing. Collingwood now will have a womans footy team and a netball team, seems fair. |

I was fortunate enough to be at the club the day we handed in our submission. Having spoken with staff members, you could tell how much it meant to them. Congratulations Blues, another tip of the hat to you in 2016! No other clubs have a Navy Nina do they?? |

We can agree to disagree MF...I thought just a little bit of you would have been pleased that the club had the guts to go through with this. They didn't waiver once. Everything they've rolled out on this has been positive. I'll take small wins like that any day of the week. At the very least - recognise that professional football clubs become a lot more female friendly. |

Last time I checked the CFC was a sporting club. Not a "men's sporting club". Not sure what's so wrong with being inclusive. |

Note to Catlton recruiters.... get this girl if possible. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-09-25/d ... nt/6801822 Her father played in many premierships with St Marys in NTFL. Mother is Michael Longs sister. She can play. |

Eight team comp. Quote: Next season's women's competition will feature six home-and-away rounds, with the top four playing two semi-finals and a Grand Final. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2016-06-15/eight-teams-named-for-inaugural-womens-league More like an eight team joke. |
