If the game becomes dominated by women who are built like brick outhouses it will die a natural death.
But if they are fit athletes like the women's soccer there is no reason why it wont be successful

Why should it matter what the women look like ?
There ll be some creeps who ll only watch this League to perve on the women, similar to Women's tennis, but if its to be a success, we have to look at these as just normal games of footy.

I have absolutely no desire to watch it, some will out of curiosity, other than that why would you want to watch a sub standard game just because women are playing?
I think it's nice that women can play AFL, hopefully more local clubs will offer that option.
Hopefully other female sports aren't effected negatively as a result, especially basketball.

Why would you, without watching any of it, classify it as a "sub-standard game"?

You bet

It is no secret that more women attend AFL games than NRL. They go to perve.

I hope they don't for a few years, then name it after the outstanding player of the first couple of seasons, if they name it after a person at all

Ron Evans or Andrew Demetriou

Name it after Rebecca Judd.

That dress did more to spike interest in the game for women than any other event of the last 50 years.

You're right, I'm sure it's a much better standard than my local footy club

Why don't you watch a match one day, put your bias aside and just watch? You never know, you may not hate it.

No, because soccer in general doesn't interest me much, aside from what you might otherwise describe as "highlights packages".

I appreciate the skills in soccer/football, and it's good to watch in portions, but I don't enjoy watching entire matches.

Last matches I watched in their entirety were the Sydney FC v Hotspurs and Sydney FC v Chelsea matches, and that's pretty much only because I was working.

Give women's soccer a chance, you might like it.
Bottom line is I'm not going to watch a sport just because it's women playing, that's illogical. I understand those that have daughters that play being interested. Enjoy.
