Well done to all those involved at the club regarding this. Now, who are going to be our first father/daughter players.

Good news. I am shocked though, the AFL usually gives us nothing.
Collingwood now will have a womans footy team and a netball team, seems fair.

I was fortunate enough to be at the club the day we handed in our submission.
Having spoken with staff members, you could tell how much it meant to them.

Congratulations Blues, another tip of the hat to you in 2016!

No other clubs have a Navy Nina do they??

Can we put a blanket ban on any of them joining the board?

We can agree to disagree MF...I thought just a little bit of you would have been pleased that the club had the guts to go through with this. They didn't waiver once. Everything they've rolled out on this has been positive. I'll take small wins like that any day of the week. At the very least - recognise that professional football clubs become a lot more female friendly.

Last time I checked the CFC was a sporting club.

Not a "men's sporting club".

Not sure what's so wrong with being inclusive.

Note to Catlton recruiters.... get this girl if possible.

Her father played in many premierships with St Marys in NTFL. Mother is Michael Longs sister. She can play.

i can see your point but - this decision is an easy political one - not a big ticket idea of building princes park back for example

says to me Carlton is on another lower level orbit/trajectory than the swans hawks geelongs - we are sitting under the shadow of city hall not shining a light and being the antagonist to the afl which is when we are at our best

Eight team comp.

Next season's women's competition will feature six home-and-away rounds, with the top four playing two semi-finals and a Grand Final.

More like an eight team joke.

Gee I hope that's a typo, but if not I hope they ramp it up quickly.
