The highlights package (mini match) was almost devoid of highlights.

It is hard to watch at times but you can't question the teams enthusiasm and some of the girls are really good.

Flogged by a team that poached some of our better players for no return.

Marianna Anthony delisted. Our AFLW program makes some strange @#$%&! decisions. She's one girl who seems to give 100% whilst we have other big names bludging their way through their careers. Too many cliques and reputations being protected instead of being an honestly ruthless organisation.

I dont know what is happening to our womens team.

Marianna Anthony was great in her 1st year, but she aggravated me to no end in the current season. So i dont share the same sentiment as some.

However i dont want to name names, but there is one girl, who our captain and coach is saying how good she became this year, and this is a concern to me. She has no athleticism, doesnt run, hardly takes a mark, and is like a stiff robot.

So that says something.

We recruit players like Duursma, and Halfpenny and hardly play them - even when we needed to change things up as we were losing all the time.

We were trying to make Vescio as a back, and at the end put them forward. I mean the only person with some flair and they just wrecked it. And Hill back ? Where she won a best and fairest in the midfield and all Australian.

Buck hardly looks or sounds inspirational to me. I wish we would hire a woman coach - this is a program to boost the womens game. I think the AFL should make teams hire womens coaches to give them a chance, as they wont have a change in the men’s space.

I dont want to come of sexist or anything, but i would like to see womens coaches in the AFLW.

And Bluevain you are correct - there are cliques in this team. Always has been.

And we are not fit. In the last game, certain players were huffing and puffing and could not even chase. The opposition in Essendon* had a field day as no one was chasing them at all.

I know the womens game is not 100% professional but look at the strong teams. They are so fit, so what’s our excuse.

We cant seem to attract big name players. So obviously word is getting around about something going on.
