writing something for blueseum on the incident wen Tommy Alvin was running and some player grabbed his hair and pulled and tommy, from memory, was pinged for holding the ball I want to know player that tugged. team, if he was, as i remember, pinged. first gets a beer from me at the next game they see me at ready set go |

And it was in '86. I still remember it because it was one of the most disgraceful decisions I've seen in a game of football. Actually, I'll go as far as to be controversial and say it was the worst free kick I have EVER seen paid against a Carlton player. Alvin nearly had his head ripped off. |
