Not a bad effort. Mike and Dan's interview with Ryan Houlihan was better. But keep up the good work, you'll get there one day. :)

DB did you not have any hope when we came back strong in the 3rd qtr of the '69 GF? Must admit though they completely dominated that finals series.

I wanted to but dad kept shaking his head. I think he always felt they'd win.

For a dreamer you don't dream very much do you?

Think about it this way - there's a hell of a lot more ex-Carlton players than there are current Carlton players?

And BW - payment is on it's way (taking the form of more blueseum requests!)

Is that why you did rd. 3 '97? I was going to do that (once I get through '96, which I've nearly finished).

Nah, thats just me wanting to make sure the Great Andrew Balkwill got his due.

Danny - I meant player interviews of the past kind. Ask them about special games etc. We've talked about doing it before and you have to push for the Club if you want to do it.

I will never forget or forgive Balme for the cheap cowardly king hit on Southby in 1973, and Richmond for the 1969 flag.

When richmond were dead broke and rattling cans I donated $300 to them so they could be around for many, many floggings from Carlton.

Tonight's the night. They deserve a public flogging.
