I have been a big Stevens bagger, but his last 2 weeks have been good. 6 clearences 5 tackles along with the 8 he had last week,29 possessions and only one clanger .Top game

Houlihan was good last night.35 possessions one clanger and 7 clearences.Has improved a lot from last year.

Houlihans hands were lightning last night.

His handball over the top to Murph after a centre bounce in the last was special.

Murph, by the way, is God.

From interview with Houlihan going up on carltonfc.com.au some time Thursday.....:

6. Tell us about your move up the field this year - you were used mostly in defence last year... Do you prefer playing on the wing and half-forward?
I’ve been looking forward to this role for years. I’m now fit enough, and Denis has got the confidence in me to play it. I’m now confident I can go head to head as a wingman.

Noticed Houlihan on a number of occasions do what I'd always hoped he'd do (but never thought he could) and show the same poise and class with his head over the footy (in traffic) as he does 20 meters in the clear.

Thought he did at least as much as the Hawthorn 'gun' midfielders without anywhere near the same recognition. Well done 'Silky'.

Not bad M.

But you didn't ask him the question all Carlton supporters want to know.....

.......When's he getting his hair cut!

I'm sure I'll find a few things there to quote as often as I did the last interview you did with him.

we didn’t even get to ask Ryan about his old chainsaw manoeuvre,

This is upsetting to read, but the interview was pretty good.

His hair looks good with a hat on, like I found out yesterday, but he does kinda need a haircut haha.
