Innovative marketing from the Carlton Football Club - a raffle!

And under the pessimistic title of "securing our future".

These guys have no idea whatsoever.

I think that George is alluding to the fact that it's a concept as old as the hills. We are not exactly at the cutting edge of marketing and revenue generation, especially if we have to resort to hitting our members up for $300 raffle tickets to surive.

Yeah and George is right but like it or not the raffle IS happening and the club apparently needs revenue. From the response so far it looks as though TC wont be getting a ticket. The people have spoken it seems.

Steve is right. That's exacty what I meant.

But by the same token, I'm all for supporting the club - I'm not inciting a boycott!

George, you obviously feel some afinity with George Harris. Any chance you'd write up a bit of a bio on him for the Blueseum?
