Laidley in his press conference noted that because of the difference between Wizzer and Home & Away, that he expected a series of injuries for the next couple of rounds. He said it was because of the increased intensity in the H & A.

Can we put Walker and LL down to that?

Given Revolting's injury, is he right?

Last night apparantly Port lost Burgoyne, and Mahoney with knee injuries and Thurstans with an ankle.

I think it's more the hard grounds- Subiaco is notorious for injuries early in the season as would be the Gabba just days after the cricket ended. TD is also notorious for injuries, especially when we play Nth (in particular that game in 2002).

Livo's injury was caused by his foot being pinned in the tackle he applied. I doubt if the surface had anything to do with it. I don't know about AW's injury, and I didn't see any footage of Burgoyne's injury either. Maybe Riewoldt's injury may have been caused by a hard fall on his shoulder, but perhaps it was caused in part when he was charged in a marking duel.
