Great effort today by the veteran.

Good to see our Captain get off to a good start early in the season. 32 touches was a sensational effort. Pity a few others didn't have the same output...

Keep up the good work Kouta.

it was one of 2 positives to come from todays loss, it was a great effort by Kouta he is a a absolute champ. The other positive i got was the performance by eddie betts, he really showed some spark even with his limited ground time and i will also say Digers did well, but overall kouta was best of field for me.

He was very good today, Kouta, which is a good sign. Because he gets up and going, he usually strings them together pretty well.

I actually thought his foot skills were a little disappointing today. They'll obviously improve with match time, but I reckon 3 of his turnovers in defence and midfield led to easy Kangaroo goals. (In fact I thought this was pretty much the story of the game.)

I was glad he got the ball abit, but he made alot of bad mistakes, 3 of his mistakes ended up as kangas goals, if he could sharpen up on his skills, he will have a great year.
