He didnt have the best day, but neither did anyone really, at least he wasnt completey transparent, 3 goals is better than nothing, plus the midfield delivery was shocking, probably appart from stevens.

But, i think they fact that we played so poorly but still had some chance of stealing the win in the last quarter (look at Sav's & Thompson's goals, both from outside 50's both from deep in the pockets, 8 times out of 10, they wouldnt have made them) is a very positive sign for us.

Agreed. Although they have some very nice kicks for goal in their team, it's hard to believe they'd be able to match that sort of efficiency very often. Wells kicked a freak goal from a stoppage, while he was being tackled. And they must have kicked about 2/3s of their goals from deep in the pockets or on the flanks. (In contrast to us, who had a number of shots from straight in front and missed - Davies, Carrazzo, etc.).

everyone was talking up sav - he kicked four goals.

everyone was saying how shit fev was - he kicked three

Spot on.

Today at the Geel/Rich game you'll hear Richo was shit and Ottens killed.

Richo - 13 possessions - 9 marks, 3 goals

Ottens - 9 possessions - 5 marks, 3 goals

Also Ottens was beaten pretty much every single time when kicked to him 1-on-1, he was truly woeful.

I really hope the bronx cheers atr the end of the game were from North supporters. Was disappointed at the time, but realised later thats what it was.

Certainly was not Fev's fault we lost the game. Laidley had a good plan to combat his and Whitnall's space.

The only tiny criticism I have is that he dropped his head a bit in the 2nd half and a lot of standing around hands on hips. its understandable that he's disappointed, but he needs to be positive and encourage the younger players.

I'm sure he'll play a great game against the Bombers

Considering the amount of pressure on Fev, and the double and triple teaming, I thought he did OK under those circumstances.

I think Pagan erred in not bringing Betts on earlier to take advantage of the crumbs created by this situation. Perhaps Betts is still under done, but as he develops more fitness and a greater understanding with Fevola, watch out.
