Carlton's financial position is beginning to improve with the Blues signing up a new coach sponsor on Wednesday and with the club set to announce more sponsors in coming weeks.

Bertocchi have been a sponsor of Carlton for over ten years but have decided to significantly increase their sponsorship for this year with Pagan playing a major role after recently meeting with Bertocchi owner John Bertocchi at the company plant in Thomastown.

They arent actually new sponsors - full credit to them for increasing their sponsorship but I would love to know financials (historical sponsorship compared to being a 'coach' sponsor). Technically, the board would have been better off gaining a completely new sponsor whilst maintaining bertocchi at a similar level of sponsorship.
