Quote: Petrie's excursion to the backline would leave Saverio Rocca and Nathan Thompson as the forward targets

Petrie played really well against us last time, but not as a fullback. |

Jarrad Waite is really going to hurt someone this year, If Laidley wants to play Petrie in defence it could well be him as Petrie looks lost at times even at home in the Forward line let alone in defence. I can just see Waite gliding towards the ball and cracking through Petrie tomorrow as he tries to keep up with Fevs Bring it on !!!!!!!!! |

If it's as a ruckman then with our quick ball movement would mean he'd have to be Carl Lewis to get there. |

Exactly right Beantown ![]() Fevs mobility means he can lead to where Petrie isn't - Petrie can't read Fevs mind and when its coming in quick he has no hope of dropping in the hole |

I think Davies is the man Laidley needs to think about outside the expected stars. I think J. Davies found his niche in the game against West Coast, and to a lesser extent, Bulldogs. He looks like he's about to explode on the scene and make a real name for himself. I think he might just do it Round 1, 2005. |

He looks like he's about to explode on the scene and make a real name for himself. I think he might just do it Round 1, 2005. Very much agreed. If Davo takes the same mindset into the game and doesn;t take one of his usual holidays after a good game then we could see the differenc. If they want Petrie down back, that's great, becasue he's the only North tall forward that worries me.... |

I hope you guys are right about Davies, would be nice to see. Can't see Petrie playing downback, they need to stretch us down back. |

North are clutching at straws i reckon. Weve got em psychological beat already methinks and a 40pt win is in the offing. |

He shouldn't be.. he has so little confidence at the moment he has about as much chance of starring as a monkey with no arms. Go Roos (I have arrived.. thanks BlueChucky) |
