Well in the eastern suburbs in Sydney usually footy is on at The Charing Cross, (cnr Bronte rd) and I guess from what I've heard at the last Blues function in Sydney, the Royal at Randwick, and sometimes at the Beach rd in Bondi Beach.

Before you go anywhere in Sydney, it's a good idea to check with the bar manager for the time slot on Sunday, re Foxtel and the twilight game in particular.

I'll try to find out more, and keep you posted on TC.

I mean even at the Beach rd, regardless of the fact that there may be over 70 TV sets and screens in the one room downstairs, there's strong competition for these screens and in order; Rugby League, Rugby Union, Rugby &'s,8's,9's...English soccer, Horses, Trots, Doggies, Metro and Regional, for all the locals and backpackers then Sydney Swans, followed by whoever gets control of the least watched screen...followed by Foxtel.

Thank god for beer.

And a good bunch of blokes who love to have a yarn about everything, and are also smart enough to know that nothing beats Aussie rules. And we all know Aussie Rules revolves around Carlton THE EMPIRE.

Naturally the most important football subject when I'm around is The Carlton Football Club and Carlton FC vs everyone else; and truly it's not always the piss talking.

Never let the....

Well they know what THE EMPIRE is going to do soon.

The 5.10pm start time sucks and now that it is on Fox I can't video it. So double suck. :(
