CARLTON'S No. 1 draft selection from 2005, Marc Murphy, will make his senior debut in the club's opening round match against Melbourne at Telstra Dome on April 2.

Murphy will alternate between midfield and forward after impressing during the pre-season with his ball-handling skills and acceleration.

You wouldn't have had to try to decipher any quatrains written by Nostradamus to predict this. Really, it is statement of the bleeding obvious.

That's not a crack at you Fevolaaaa for posting the link. I'm always happy to be given links to Carlton stories, and I thank you for this one

Jason Saddington, recruited from Sydney to take a tall defensive role, is unlikely to play after just one match back from a knee injury.

Dod I miss something? Which match did he play? He didn't play in Albury...has he run around in the VFL?

As pointed out this was predictable but nonetheless EXCITING!

We have a player here and if he can follow in the debut of walks that would be magic.

Good to see, and may it be the first of many games in the Navy Blue for young Murphy. About 350 would be great I reckon. :P

And Saddington will play for the Bullants this weekend too, so he'll have had two games (more like 1.5) before Round 1. Don't think the MC will risk picking him, but stranger things have happened...
