Terrible news. Remember going to the G in the 80s to watch him in the one dayers. Was very entertaining batsman.
Enjoyed his commentary too. Never scared to speak his mind.

That’s [REDACTED].

Best wishes to his family.

Taken far too young.

Great photo.

RIP Blue Blood.

Thanks for the entertainment.

One day cricket king.
That 200 in India whilst vomitting throughout the innings was beyond human.

Had the enormous privilege of seeing Deano turn up to see the boys at Naughton's on Mad Monday after the 1995 Flag.
Great Victorian, great Blues fan.

Yes, as did his father Barney. I might be wrong, but I think Barney may have also played footy for the Blues.

Fascinating story on the club website - Dean Jones was actually the grandson of Harry Vallance, CFC Team of the Century full forward.

Does a US President count?

SHOULD the Blues make room for a new No.1 ticket holder?

After the news that Joe Biden will be the next President of the United States, surely footy fans would excuse Carlton for making the most of his (admittedly loose) ties to the Blues that stem from his visit to Australia four years ago.

The former US Vice President received a Carlton jumper from then-skipper Marc Murphy on the MCG turf when he attended a round 17 game between the Blues and West Coast at the home of football in 2016.
