The old bird on the left looks familiar. Is she a celebrity?

Left of Bill Gates? Possibly his wife.

You know who the lady to the right is?

Well I don't know ... he is a massive philanthropist and we are clearly a major charity case. Maybe he could kick some dough in.

the stuff being rolled out by carlton is quite embarrassing ....young people wouldn't care nor know and it just represents a club longing for the past to be relevant again

I'd much rather they consistently communicate with the members instead of the insular and aloof attitude of years past.
Some people just love to @#$%&! whinge.

Just finished watching Videos from the 60's 70's 80's 90's with my 2 boys and a few of their Rugby loving mates.
They were pressies for their early xmas they enjoy every year (one in Sydney and one in Melb).

Kids all loved the old Carlton Brawlers, Goals and Classic marks.
We also discussed celebreties who rrack for the Blues.
We got 2 converts to AFL and Carlton from the session too.

I tell you something about all young people. They are easily influenced for better or for worse. The No. 1 influence on the attitude and behaviour of kids are from the older people around them. Then there's peer group pressure as a separate influence. But even peers are influenced by someone older.

I really don't subscribe to your negativity towards history andgreat sporting achievements.

We should brag about everything Carltonbecause I has a place in history and know when we win our next flag everyone including you MF will recall our history and will call our next flag the 17th, and not just a flag.

We have every right to be proud of our history and our supporters its part of the game, and banter is gat fun, when youre a Carltonian, despite the rough patch of the last 2 decades.

Some of were lucky enough to be there for the ride that Geelong, Hawks and Sydney fans are experiencing.
Enjoy it as much as you can because as history has shown, things can go bad pretty quickly.

Ya know.......

i remember hearing many years ago...the Queen
was a Bagger...!

her Royal Hi-ness herself...!

i questioned it at the time...but we did discuss it
rather thoroughly and if you think about it...!

Carlton...!

it's very British...we thought The Hawthorn
may work too...but definitely not Geelong...!

i haven't met an Englishman who hasn't found
that name hilarious...!

kindest regards tommi
