Go Prenda, i will never forget your 2 best moments, the goal last week to sink the eagles, and a similar goal against the hawks last year to seal that match.

Great to see a kid who doesn't have great skills can still get a game.

Prenda is actually far from being a fringe player, he's extremely valuable to us, and I'm sure Denis value's him greatly.

Its amazing how a lot of our players play such similar role's to former Kangaroo's.

Anyone remember Mark Roberts?

I wish all of our players put in like Prenda does, he is seen at the club as lacking in skills, but great application.

Kernahan calls him the "markologist". Tongue in cheek.

is Prenders on the way out? In the Wiz, he received less game time as the competition wore on. IN the final, I'm pretty sure he really only played a quarter or so. What is the future for Prenders?

Any update on thoughts with respect to the above now? I thought Prenders had a pretty good opening, but then proceeded to spend over half the game on the pine.

Game Plan A - the one that we had in Q1 and Q4 v Bombers - has the following:
* French in the ruck
* Kouta taking centre, clearance king
* forward line open and stacked with true forwards (no defending fwds) in Betts, Fev, ADL, Whits, Davies and perhaps Waite....

When we need to change this, say to give French a break, ADL seems to go into the ruck...but he's not a ruckman, is he? We lose the mismatch in the forward line with ADL's height, but i thought Prenders wasnt erally given a go in that role on the weekend, let alone given game time.

So.... is he on the outer? Will he struggle for game time over the coming year? Will Russell's eventual inclusion as a tall running midfielder mean the end of Ian Prendergast?

I love Prenda i hope he's not on the way out

Surely his stamina, size, versatility, strength and the fact he is part of the leadership group count for something !!

I'm sure they do - the question is 'how much'?

Molsey, I have the same concerns as you about Prenda (and I've had these concerns for some time now). Am prepared to get flamed for this, esp. given he's a bit of a favorite with some posters, but I reckon if he doesn't establish himself in a set position soon he will find himself dropped... even taking into account that he's part of our leadership group.

We seem to have a lot of players like that - too many utilities not enough key position players

Not sure what others think but I feel Prenda has been very quiet along with comments about him.

To me the only effective thing he has done since his super goal in the last quarter of the Wiz final was to fall on T-Bird's knee!!

Prenda's copped his share as well, not looking through the threads well enough if you disagree....can we delete yet another negative thread about a player playing his role?

Prenda has been quiet, but has escaped criticism

Hasn't done anything effective since the Wiz Cup GF

Attention mods:

Can we create a new forum.

Suggested name:

Talking Negative reactive bullshit and shitcaning players after a loss just for the sake of it.

Then the rest of us can get on with the business of being Carlton supporters.
