hey guys, any CSC'ers, TBV'ers, CBN'ers or TCC'ers from canberra and surrounds be interested in catching up fro a few drinks this saturday night to watch the game on fox footy? from what i can tell foxfooty has the game on about a 60 min delay? this was what their TV guide has for saturday night: 6.00pm Wizard Cup 2nd Semi-final Wizard Cup 2nd Semi-final AFL. (W/S) 8.30pm Wizard Cup 1st Semi-final Wizard Cup 1st Semi-final AFL. (W/S) now i'm pretty sure we are semi final 2, so i think they have these two game arse about in the guide as we dont start till 7.40, so the 8.30 coverage seems logical. i'm open to suggestions as to where we could watch the game at and i'll see if anyone is keen first. if no one seems interested i'll probably just watch the game down at Eastlakes in Kingston/Griffth. But Ainsle footy club is another option, unless someone who has fox whats to open their place up to some footy heads. so any takers??? |

Hi gezman I would love to come and watch the game - however I am duty bound to babysit my niece and nephews this Sat nite. There is a slim possibility that I could be finished my duties in time to still participate (or at least come a little later - especially if its the later broadcast game on Fox), so would really apreciate if you would keep me up to date on the arrangements (ie: where you will be etc..)... Really hope to get there and look forward to meeting you if I do... Cheers |

sounds good. it cant be the 6.00 telecast cause the game doesnt start for another hour and 40 min, so it would have to be the 8.30 or not at all. during the season 8.30 was the go for most night games i think. i've just sent you a pm with my details. hope to see you an others this weekend. |

Sorry, going to be in Melbourne for a family get together on Saturday night  Free booze though so it should be ok watching it on tv. Also a bonus that will be able to see it live for a change

Arrrgh shit!!! Fox aren't showing it till 11 PM now! so cancel that idea for thsi week. bloody hell channel ten is shwoing it earlyier than that. looks like i will just stay home to watch the game. i'mm have to reisist temptation of checking the scores early though. owell 2 and half hour delay aint that bad i guess. sorry guys. if we play in perth next week (getting ahread of myself) then it hopefully will be on a bit at a better time. if it's at the dome and we are in it, i may be at the game. either way i'd definatley love to get something going regularly so us ACT supporters can see games in good company. |

Hey Gez sorry to disappoint you, it's actually a 3 and a half hour delay. There's a 5 minute difference between Fox and FTA - pretty s*** if you ask me
