I'd suggest putting the link here instead breaching copyright on the article

Read the article and it sounds all good.Anyone can talk the talk,.but ya gotta walk the walk.We will see in time which it is with Eddie.......BUT....at least Eddie
is prepared to concede he has faults and weaknesses and is full blast about fighting his demons.Sounds like Libba is cutting him no slack and is gonna ride him every inch of the way.Ya gotta be cruel to be kind sometimes. There is no one bar none that can teach Eddie better than Libba about overcoming adversity.
Am i imagining things,or is there greater input by our assistant coaches this year ? each of the assistants seem to be given a small group to personally mentor.

GREAT to hear that his aunty has moved out. Betts needs to get out of Cragieburn and i cant believe the club has let him stay there and under thise circumstances.

I appluad Libba for helping young Eddie out, he needs some guidance and NEEDS TO GET OUT THE ENVIROMENT WHICH HE IS IN.

Stop sitting on the fence and tell us what you really think.

Seriously, is it the suburb or the types he hangs around with you have an issue with? In fact according to the article he let himself go when on holidays interstate. Shame that he wil never make it as a midfielder. Like Angwin has a lot of unreliased talent but lacks discipline and professionalism.

Read somewhere that Collingwood bought a property in Wiliamstown to house up to 5 new recruits. If only we were in a position to do the same.

That article was just as much about Libba as it was about Eddie..

Great article..

Good luck to Eddie - I hope with Libba's help he can keep on track and put that talent to good use for the forces of good.

I know a few things about Eddie, this kid has a good head on his shoulders my issues is that how the club can let this kid stay within the enviroment he lives. Im not going to tell all what the actual situation is but its a bloody disgrace that it goes on. He deserves better

Gee, last time I checked the CBA, there was nothing in it which gives the Club the power to dictate where a player lives and with whom. If there is, maybe we can order Bryce Gibbs not to have anything to do with his father if we pick him up in the draft :P

Without giving us any facts BB, there is no way to determine whether anything you say about Eddie has any merit. You seem to be making unspecified allegations about the family with which he lives. But he is now an adult, and his family can only influence Eddie if he lets them (even if there is something negative as you suggest).

To say as Conundrum says that he is another LA is ridiculous. The only criticism that can be levelled at Eddie over the last 13 months appears to be that he ate too much when he visited both sides of his family. He recognised that himself and has remedied it both by putting in on the track and agreeing to remain in Victoria during the Xmas break and undertaking boot camp with Libba when he could not be forced to do so. If you think there is any chance that LA would have done that, or if you think that LA could ever have kept his nose clean for 13 months, you are crazy.

Yep, great read.

All sins will be forgiven (not forgotten  ) for Libba if he keeps putting in efforts like this to get the best out of our youngsters. Very impressed.
