Got this tape at home called "Footy Brawls" - a compilation of VFL footage from the late 70s that mostly lives up to its name but has some other highlights as well. Has two great Carlton goals on it. One is by Vin Cattogio - he takes a long run up the field including three bounces, hand passes to either Harmes or McConville (can't tell), runs on to receive the ball back then kicks the goal. The other goal is during a final against Collingwood at the MCG (perfect for a great goal!). Harmes has the ball in Collingwood's goal square - kicks out to the HFF. Collins gets the ball beating an opponent and runs along the side of the ground. Gives a long handpass to Jezza, runs by and gets the ball back, handpasses to Keogh near the forward pocket/flank who slots the goal. Great stuff. I feel sorry for anyone who wasn't around in the 1970s / early 1980s to watch those fantastic Carlton sides. They were great days. |

Good one Royal Parade. I will keep a look out for it. I wouldn't mind seeing any match highlight which includes Harmes. |

Yep there is some good stuff on the tape but I doubt if it is now available - you might find a copy though in a video sale clear out. Some good McKay marks, Percy Jones antics (including him thumping Leigh Matthews), and Walls and Sheedy fighting each other are other Carlton features. |
