I'd squeeze Kouta in.

Brad Pearce?

Hard to do these teams as does Lappin get more credit than Pearce for his longevity or does Prearce get the nod as we more dangerous in 95 and 96. Did or could Sticks play CHF from 95? I remember he got moved to FF when we got Earl.
Either way its a fantasic side, basically our 95 side minus the lesser likes and adding some recent good players.

Wait till Synbad sees you have Lance in there. For the record though I probably wouldn't have a spot for him.

A forward line that includes Sticks, Lance, Fev and Hamill is a little top heavy and has too much bulk. They'd be crashing into one another.

Id probably find room for Manton.

Always loved his efforts vs Ess, but after watching a lot of old games recently his marking was a lot better than anyone we have today. He didnt shirk the issue and took good one grabbers.

I dont care if he carried on like a flower because every club has them. You pick teams to win not on popularity contests.

Loved Mil but to be honest we'd seen the best of him by this period. I doubt hed played too many games in this era.

You can be damn sure I wouldn't be showering with you after the Sydney forum match if you did.

Seeing as you are nominating the period 95-05, then surely the 95 premiership team would have all bases covered ??

Surely? Why surely?

Surely you would take Hickmott, or Thornton, over Manton?

Surely you would take Stevens over Whitehead?

I reckon thats spot on with Rice Manton Hulme Whitnall on the bench. Maybe try to bring Rice and Whitnall inside the starting 18

Not sure about Thornton belonging there just yet and wouldn't include Hamill.

I'd go.........

B Lappin Silvagni Sexton (with Whitehead unlucky to miss..... tragic
HB McKay Dean Christou injury to a guy who could have become a
C Bradley Williams Kouta gun on baller)
HF Campo Spalding Hickmott (Spalding better value than Fev at this stage)
F Pearce Kernahan Brown

Foll Madden Ratten Stevens

Bench Fevola Rice Whitnall Hanna

At their best would be every other clubs 95-2005 team without a doubt. Majority of them 200+ game players too....... great servants of the club.

Whitnall would be a certainty for the starting 18 ahead of Pearce or Fevola

Emg: Houlihan, Beaumont, Hulme

i'd go something like that. like all these side player get put in positions they dont often play. like stevo in the FP. but i dont know how you could put stevens as starting in the midfield after only playing about 40 games for the club.

EDIT: Pearce taken out for Houla. IMO houla would have played more quality games during this period than pearce
