Today I had to accompany a couple of my Collingwood supporting clients to court for a hearing. Of course I took the oppotunity to explain to them in the car about "That is how you win Premierships" "How good are our young lads!' 'Thank you Eddie for Nick Stevens and Heath Scotland.' etc etc. On arrival at court thier lawyer also a Carlton supporter and I rehashed the entire game.'
After the hearing in which one of them got a Community Based Order I took them home, only to get a ph call from a friend re Carlton, rehash all of the above again.
Getting out of the car, the one who got the CBO leans back in, gives a sigh and says
"Next time I am taking the jail sentence.'
