Pretty good post

Every club has there fair share of recruiting/trade f#ck-ups - none more than Carlton. It is easier to look with hindsight and say this is what we should've done. Oh well, let them sort it out!!!

Well, I deliberately stay away from Collingwood fans - they're just sort of icky and I don't want to catch cooties.

So, I've had to think about this.

I feel... undirty about nabbing Stevens. In fact, I feel kinda good. Sorta brilliant. Actually over the moon and well, isn't he worth the $!

So, if I was a Pies fan, presumably I would feel opposite to how I feel as a Carlton fan.

Therefore, by sensational deduction... teh answer is YES.

Once Chad Morrison is delisted/retired and Egan has been delisted hopefully we can have an 'Are the Magpies dirty on not getting Jordan Russell?'... Of course that's assuming Russell comes the goods.

An intelligent post written by a Collingwood supporter? Never...

Well, there is one. And that was it. It's a pretty good piece, he knows his history (there are a couple of factual errors like the drafts in recent years, not quite right (Didak in 2000 draft etc.) but other than that, it's not bad.

Other Pies supporters aren't getting it...

What do Collingwood supporters and the Ancient Egyptian Economy have in common?

They're both useless, outdated, irrelevant and don't work?

I grew up with the clown that wrote that post....... some people have too much time on their hands.... good read....almost .......Haven't seen him in a few years though..... Funny how he changed his allegiance to Port Adelaide when they entered the comp.... he must be a Pies fan again. Turncoat, turns again.

His quote about the Magpies having a greatness about them when he was a kid is all bull..... I know. We went to the same school and you only barracked for Collingwood because the mindless bully would beat the crap out of you if you didn't or you had a very low IQ. I preffered to get the crap beaten out of me and barracked for the team that did have true greatness about them.... Carlton.

He is your tipical Magpie supporter.... I suppose you can figure out what he does for a crust..... thank's Mr Howard.... I'll give him some credit though.. he can write.

To me, The Pies were and will always be a laughing stock.... 1 premiership in 47 years..... enough said I think.

It says his club is Richmond....? anyway at the end of the day you could pick any club and write a similar article that would make it seem as though that club has absolutely no idea whatsoever about recruiting....Carlton included.

He was moaning about the lack of recent flags, try talking to a Swans fan!!! The Great Depression was in full swing & World War Two was still six years off when they last won one in 1933.

Well he did say Collingwood don't have a sense of proportion - do they compare themselves with Footscray, Swans, Melbourne, Geelong, St Kilda and not feel so bad, or compare with us or Essendon* and feel absolutely miserable.

It is amazing to me that Collingwood has stayed so complacent, and Carlton generally not (we fell into that trap with Elliot for a while but no way were we going to remain there). Collingwood's failures have added greatly to the drama and history of the game (would have those Grand Finals seemed the same if we had beaten the Swans instead) , but such failure must seem to be a demoralising thing unless you somehow can ignore it.

Anyway I am rambling - thanks for bringing attention to the read.
