Once again the Human Haemorroid has raised his ugly head in an attempt to taint the weekends result.
Unable to restrain himself from smearing The Blues even in praise, Fatprick calls Carlton whingers.
Whilst commending the team and coaches on a deserved victory on one hand, he has to throw in his undesired opinion on Collo, calling him a whinger.
Why The Australian allows Fatprick to defecate daily on the sportspages of the national newspaper is one of lifes true mysteries.
Regards Pedro.

Normally you need to have a bit of evidence when you say "probably rorting the salary cap since the mechanism was introduced in 1985". We were hardly the only ones. How many times were your beloved bombers caught?

life's so easy for this ugly prick!

can't believe he be allowed to write stuff that's unsubstantiated, and get away with it!

surprising (... NOT!!) how he finds a way, via Collo's "whingeing", to devote so much of the article to the salary cap issue .... AGAIN!! goes into such detail ... AGAIN! the football match is incidental when it concerns carlton!

has he written ANYTHING on carlton that doesn't include black friday?

your brief compliments directed at denis otherwise mask your churlishness .... @#$%&! OFF!!!!!!!!!

you have to understand nobody reads the australian and the only way to get people to read it is by writing such rubbish that will create controversy. You dont read articles like that in the sun why, cause they sell 600,000 papers compared to the australian who sell shit. Let Fatprick write what he wants cause no one aint reading it and everyone knows that he is a bitch and his articles have no merrit and that deep down inside he is a sad old angry man who has nothing good to say and that says alot about his character who sells out by writing such crap to earn a living. Pathetic if you ask me Fat Pat

Oh the irony of Smith quoting Spotless Ron regarding salary cap rorting.

Stopped reading the Australian because of Fatpat, not because it is a News Limited propraganda rag

It's an amusing article.

In his attempt to stay unbiased, he starts the article talking about random useless uninteresting things and then somehow manages to link it with Carlton rorting the cap and he goes on a rant we've read a million times from him. Then tries to end with "oh but I really do love Carlton, well done...but shut up"

Patrick Smith has always been at Collins about his COI,its time that he himself fessed up about his own COI with regards Carlton and in particular our President.

I would suggest that at some time Ian crossed the Australians intrepid reporter.Mr Smith write like a man who is carrying a long grudge.

BB is right. The use of "Sportless Ron's" name in a salary cap rorting article is farcical.Remind us again just who was President of Essendon* a year before their 1993 breach?

Remind us how many times Essendon* were at it?

Remind us about how Rons son employed James Hird as a broker?.A position that he was rarely sighted in and has since left.Strangely Jimmys departure co-incided with his ability to go onto the veterans list!

Remind us about the Essendon* web site and the nice little earner to that well known columnist Mathew LLoyd?.How very astute of him to create his own domain name and the nouse that he showed to sell it back to the Bombers for a nice little earner!

Just a few little questions Mr Smith.Consistency might suggest that you should address the Essendon* issues, particularly when you are happy to label Carlton serial cheats. One might ask what is the difference?

Perhaps after all this you might like to quiz your mate Demetriou about how he feels about Michael Easey?

Rather funny that a salary cap investigator finds himself employed by the Brisbane President on a very large salary(reported 120k) and then supposedly having little to do!

Consistency Mr Smith, that is all i ask!

And also remind us that as Chairman of the AFL your organisation that is reponsible for the fixturing of matches and your purchasing of the catering company that looked after Subiaco Oval - prior to the AFL and WAFL deciding to use Subiaco as its prime AFL venue in WA. You lying hypocritical turd Evans.

Oh and Demetrispew as non-executive chairman of Baxter Group (an organisation that amongst other things looks after "Putrescible Waste Management" - how do you find the time?? ) - why dont you go manage yourself.

I think that there is no greater sign that we are back in town than the bile eminating forth from Mr Smith's column this morning. Collo mentioning the win in light of the the salary cap penalties was all about something that you know little about: relevance.

All you write Mr Smith is spuroius, malicious, and let's not forget motivated by jealousy. Jealous that your sporting career, much like your journalism career, never reached great heights. Bereft of wit and insight you can only criticise while all the time looking enviously at the other journalists whose work is more respected than yours and appears in the more legitimate sporting circles.

Mr Smith, you have my pity, but not my readership.

I normally try and keep out of such talk about Patrick Smith, being a non reader of the australian, but after following that link I can't help but post.

I really can't believe that he is allowed to write such crap. What starts out as talk of Clarkson and St Kilda soon slides into a slur against Carlton - which, lets face it, was really his intent with the article all along.

Patrick Smith is now added to my hate list (along with Demetriou, who has long been a resident).

I really don't hate many people, but man, these people seem to thrive on giving it to the beloved blues.
