PJ - put James Bond in the forward pocket, place a picture of a Zinger Burger on it and kick long to him, no worries about him dropping it. :-D

Hey I may be able to bring someone along with me. Its my uncle he is about 40 now but still plays.

He is a club great at Epping and pretty well knowin around a Geelong league (can't remember which one) and plays with some old mans league now (just won player of the state of origin in a competition in SA)

He is about 6foot and about 100kg and can still play on the ball or full back.

I'm still trying to talk him into it...... I will keep yous updated

Does anyone here have a problem changing the date to the 18th?

That way we will probably be able to play at Glenferrie.

Or we can all chip in $10 and play at VP.

It's up to you...

I think it's pretty good as well, Clint.

$10 gets us the ground for the day and the use of rooms and showers.
Can't ask for much more than that.

I'm happy with paying $10 too. as long as no one tries any of those old dirty club room tricks!!! e.g. deep heat in the jocks or peeing on my leg in the shower

Might go searching for a ground in the city unless any of you blokes know of a ground that still has it's goal posts up?

*looking at Tyrants, Clint and Chuck*

Bob Rose isn't entirely out of the question, yet.

Tess over at Nicks has rung the club and asked them if we could use it and they haven't given her an answer yet.

So, for the moment, put your $10 away.

yeah, I'd pay $10 as well... I don't mind

Brunswick St Oval has taken its posts down, unfortunately. That would have been an awesome location.... its a great surface and right in the middle of Carlton and Collingwood.

The only one that springs to mind is Arden St, PJ. I think I'll give Arden St a call tomorrow and work out if its possible if you like.

The other one is Cramer St Oval.... that might be a goer..

Actually, the only problem will be cricket season. I imagine North Melb Cricket Club plays its home games at Arden St.... and I think there's a subdistrict team based at Cramer St.

I'll give North a call tomorrow and see if its a goer... otherwise we might be best to look at VP.

Another one is Melbourne Uni?? The ground there??? Perhaps a call to them is in order........

That'd be great if you could do that, Tyrants.

If all else fails, how would you all feel about pushing the game back a week to the 18th and playing at Glenferrie?

Yeah.

Hence why I still would like to keep it at the 11th.

I don't care if we have to play at Victoria Park or somewhere else. Just as long as we are able to get an oval to use then I don't care what happens.
