At the moment it's looking like we will either play on Optus, play at Bob Rose Oval or we might have to bring the match forward to the 20th of November.

Could go searching for an oval somewhere in the city.

The 20th could be a problem for myself and Tyrant, we are both playing in the corp games and I think its being held on that weekend.

What about the ground the Bullants played Werr for the prelim final?
Tram 109. Easy enough to get to. Or a lil to far?

Was thinking about Arden St before as a possible venue, Lucas.

At the moment, we'll see what happens with the Lexus Centre. If we can get that, @#$%&! brilliant. If we can't, we'll use Arden St or a VFL ground.

Either way, we will have ourselves a ground.

Very impressed with the response so far. It was what I predicted as I thought a lot of people would want to punch a hole through a Magpie football side and if it wasn't the actual Collingwood side then the forum side was the next best thing.

However, I don't expect everyone in the above list to play. I have blokes on that list who I can rely upon to turn up when they put their name down and I'm hoping to add to that list this time around.

Looking forward to the game and here's hoping we can get the Lexus Centre as a venue. I hear they are going to ask if they can get the bar open for all of us to have a drink afterwards.

Now THAT would be cool.

So that means that the Collingwood blokes have the home ground advantage. Interesting.

Just curious, was there a reason why you wanted to keep the date as the 11th?

Oh and if you guys play at Lexus, what's the mode of transport?

Because it suited most people on here and over at Nick's.
Plus it would have been too hard to have it on any other date. Especially if we wanted to play at Glenferrie Oval.
PRE vs. BB is on the 27th of November.
SS vs. HHQ is on the 4th of December.

The 20th of November is a bit short notice and the 18th is cutting it too close to Christmas.

The 11th is a perfect date.

Ive got another mate who will definetely play. Big Carlton supporter. Plays both footy and soccer. Would be handy on a flank or wing as he looks like he has a bit of pace (but i havent seen him run or play).

His name is Rob. So Rob and Dan I can get down to ensure numbers. Rob wanted to play against SS but had exams on, and he's busting to get out there, especially against the Pies.

yeah.... I might have a +1, but we'll wait and see..... brother-in-law played a lot as a kid.

I'll try and get my mate Josh to play as well, but I don't see him that often. Big Carlton supporter and plays (I think) in the Ammos. He'll play any sport you set him to.... but just have to try and get hold of him somehow. He'd be about my height. Brother-in-law is my height as well, maybe a shade shorter. Both total tanks.
