Hey Guys and Gals,

I believe that we need a brand new Forum that for some reason most of our regular posters have forgotten the subject matter that TC should be all about. Don't know about you, but I think that most people are getting the shits with the constant sniping and pissing competitions that drag on. Most threads tend to degenerate down to coach/player/board/president/recruiter bashing without much serious content. I'm sure that you willl agree with me that we need this new forum urgently. My suggestion for the forum name is:

TalkingPolitics?

Strip that all out and as bare as it will be, TalkingCarlton might be about the footy.

If we start talking about this week's game then we really have really gone nuts.

I actually think it is pretty quiet in here considering we have just come off a wooden spoon and have a couple of board positions up for grabs.

Until the draft you better get used to it because there will be little else to discuss until there are some new players running around in the Navy blue and we can begin again to dream of a brighter future.

Correct as usual Old Fruit!!

But then again, some of our posters have got something else in their hands most of the time. Mrs Cazz obviously agrees by her comment in your Pago Pago Hating thread.

Perhaps leaning a little interest to the Forum Match this weekend might eradicate the boredom?

Yes, but with what she has got, she can get as many of them as she wants.

We could do with a few reminiscing threads like they have on CSC…even if looking back over the years might seem like a sadass thing to do for some, it's a great time filler during the offseason! :)

Cue Deano to come up with some ideas like a couple of summers ago...

What's the issue BB?
Would you rather a site where only positive posts are allowed?
As long as posters are asking genuine questions and looking for genuine answers, there shouldnt be an issue.

Not everyone has the same expectations as you.
There are some posters who dont care jack about the footy and are on the site for social reasons or whatever.

There's stuff that I cant be bothered with so I dont read it.
There's probably forums on this site I've never visited.
Coach/player/board/president/recruiters are sections of the club and should be discussed and debated.

Discussion and debate cant always be positive.

Damn!

I'm positive about that.

Come on Jar. Read us some of the funny parts of the 1962 Annual report.
