Collingwood finished last in 1999. (Got 1st draft pick)
Carlton finished last in 2002. (Got no early draft picks)

Collingwood finished 15th in 2000. (started promisingly, faded badly)
Carlton finished 15th in 2003. (started promisingly, faded badly)

Collingwood 9th in 2001.
Carlton 11th in 2004.

Collingwood thrashed in all Wizard cup games, then made day GF in 2002
Carlton won Wizard cup and .......... in 2005.

Carlton, had their worst finish to a season in 1998 (finished 11th), Grand Finalists in 99.

Nah. Brisbane's got to lose it again this year before - and I pray to the God Ken Hunter that this doesn't happen - we lose 3 straight GFs. :shock:
