Saw John Elliot at the game last night, in th emedallion club, he was in high spirits. I wonder if he's starting to feel not so bad about everything that happened given our speedy PARTIAL recovery.

The less we see of Jack, the better.

He is an embarassment.

Spoke to him on Friday on Collins Street, said we'd thrash 'em and he'd be there.

I really can't find it in myself to hate him

Well if I may say so......

I couldn't agree more

He was the only reason I disliked your mob a few years back

IMO he is a liar, a cheat and a crook

could and should have got years inside, if it were not for some inadmissible evidence courtesy of the then NCA

You would all do well without him IMO

Jack's interview with Channel 9 at halftime was a disgrace. He was trash talking the clubs board and Collo (and talking about how ell run the Club was under his leadership... - yes he said that). Just shut up Jack and piss off...

Why are they still interviewing him? (Didn't see it as I was at the game). He's totally irrelevant now. Why don't they interview the current president?

Because they wanted to hear something interesting and they knew Jack would give them something controversial while Collo is just about the most boring person I've ever seen on TV

That may be true, however, they only interview Jack to try and make us look stupid.

Maybe but 3AW interviewed him pre-game but didn't bother with Jack.

We are stuck with McGuire and Channel 9 constantly dragging Elliot back up to the microphone to make some stupid statement. The guy is irrelevent, they love him cause they know he'll say something stupid. We have no hope of seeing the back of this bloke until McGuire and Channel 9 lose control of footy telecasts. I didn't mind nor care when they showed him in the crowd (he has every right to go tot he footy like anyone), but why talk to him - just to upset and anoy the bulk of Carlton supporters.

Thankfully I didn't see and hear the interview. The man is a sad joke, an embarrassment for all things Carlton! He is a dinosaur from the dark days when greed, deception and shafting people was the way to go (at least for Jack!). We have moved on from him and he didn't quite get what he deserved from our suspect corporate watch dogs.

GO BLUES!!!

"History - FUTURE!"

Well I can tell you that you did't miss much.....

I was watching the game and going for the Blues, after he came on (and I just hate him)

At some stage I wanted the WCE to win, just so they crossed over to the dipshit after the match....

Sorry about that .....

I say again, I don't mind the blues, and am glad they won especially seeing there was no cross over to Elliott...

Each time I see Elliott I hate Carlton

If he is left out, I don't really mind them....

Well at least I'm honest......

Cheers

Fid

Which is exactly why I can't hate Jack.

Hate from all other clubs is healthy and expected, at least in my eyes, and if Jack does that to you then fantastic

Yeah I have no doubt there will be passionate Elliott supporters out there....

Fair enough.... as far as you are concerned

But you lot must move on IMO

I have mentioned my thoughts about him enough....

I used to do work for the ACC, and maybe that's way I just have a total dislike for him......

John Elliott sounded like he had had a few drinks and made as much sense as a drunk. He could have been gracious in commenting about being invited to the Optus last game by Collo. Instead he chose to be spiteful and made some statements that could have been written by the Iraqi Information Ministry under the Saddam regime.

I must admit that I have felt sorry for him and his recent downfall despite his contribution to Carltons darkest days, but when I saw the way he carried on in this interview the sympathy totally dissapated.

No, no, no, no....

You're all forgetting that this was Eddie's show.

He spent the bulk of the time during his commentary (and the intro) reminding us that we'd "been on our knees" , "paupers", etc, you get the picture.

Jack was about rubbing our noses in it. Letting us know that eddie still can.

He is such a pratt!

(by the way what is with Dermott's hair??)

I saw Brendan Goddard & Sam Fisher (St.Kilda), Sav Rocca, Jess Sinclair, Michael Stevens (Roos) at the game last night.

Were these guys Carlton supporters as juniors? We all know about BJ!!!

All I can say is if their club dieticians had seen them, it would have been a sight for sore eyes.

Indulging in hot dogs, chips, and chocolate bars!!!!
