There's nothing to do but cross your fingers and hope that our #1 selection is a messiah and not just a naughty boy. Thus a 2 part article:

http://carltonfc.com.au/default.asp?pg= ... eid=234726

We follow it up, with the help of the geek, by rating these guys from 1 to 12. Have a go at it? How would you rate them? By goals kicked, stats earned, good looks? The only clear thing about rating these is that Waterhouse comes last!

Oldest trick in the book! Write half a story and then leave everyone hanging - sad what some people will do to get an audience. 8)

It's even sadder that some people don't have an audience to begin with...

hehe - I've got a new database now thanks to that article. 8)

Now I can ask questions like: Which player has the most Brownlow votes who started out on a Rookie list?

My guess would be Brett Kirk

This article is clearly bias and is not a true representation of the talent that Clive produced while playing for Fremantle.

Shame on the authors.

Fair enough. That's what PJ would say about that. Just because he's wrong and all...

Jarusa, you severely misrepresented Clive Waterhouse in your stat findings.

Why did you do this?

Whilst we seem to have the days of Lounder and Hooper behind us the list of players whilst impressive has a couple of slight disappointments
Fraser
Headland has been inconsistent since going to dockers so much so that he was dropped when he should be in the prime of his career

Johnson has taken a long time to live up to the hype although he was excellent this year.
Water house was explosive but even before he did the knee was too inconsistent.
The best one will be Cooney

Lets go with a midfielder

Clive would never do that, Jarusa.

He'd bake a cake, invite you over, let you have a slice or two and then leave you out in the rain.

Thanks for the 'constructive criticism'

PJ, don't worry about Waterhouse, according to the stats we use in the second part of the article he's not the worst #1. He only appears to be #1 on least games played, lowest skills, lowest usefulness. some question whether he's even the #1 Blondest hair, but it's a tight race with Riewoldt.

'just' 'trying' 'to' 'help'.

the rest was good. Actually I reckon the site is getting better since all contributors have been allowed to spark it up a bit. 'Well done'.

'yours superfluously'
