Hate to say it, but click on link below as a demonstration of how experienced leaders of a football club should behave towards the end of their career - Buckley a 1 Year Contract!

There is a little bit of a difference. Buckley has been injury prone the last couple of seasons.

So what you are saying is that Buckley would be screaming and yelling about his 1 year contract if he was not injury pone?

No what I am saying is that Buckley's career has been in jeopardy because of his dodgy hamstrings...

This quote is quite explanatory don't you think?...

Buckley acknowledges his poor form, and takes a reduced one-year contract. At least he has injuries as an excuse.

Camporeale has poor form, no significant injuries to speak of, yet still demands the fat contracts. Unless you can class an inability to break a tag for half a decade as an injury.

"I know I haven't been much good lately, but they keep tagging me! Well, they used to.
Now they don't really pay me that much attention so I've wound up in the backline. Don't care much for this manning up caper either.
Now then, where were we?... Oh yes! My contract!"

So he's putting the club first instead of putting his hand out?
