Twice in this wizard cup this side has been tested. melbourne came back but the boys held firm and then won and tonight, tonight the eagles rose and looked like running all over us but the boys stayed calm, stayed focused and then they stormed away like the carlton of old!!

So true Danny - and doesn't that just signify how far we have come. Having watched teams overun us regularly in the last couple of seasons I was feeling sick when West Coast went on their run. But steel is right - this team has it in spades.

Going to watch the replay now and going to get very drunk on the new sponsor's product. :D

When West Coast took the lead in the 4th I thought it would be extremely difficult to win from here. The boys dug really deep and in the end won by a comfortable margin.

It would have been unjust to get rolled after being in front all night. Good to see that the palyers responded to the challenge in the last quarter. Great signs for the H&A season to come.
